Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans can rest easy this morning as IDW Publishing and Paramount have announced plans for a Technodrome-sized serving of Turtle power in 2024 and beyond.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the iconic franchise, which was created by brilliant storytellers Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Now, IDW Publishing and Paramount Global are proud to announce an extension of the partnership between the two companies to continue celebrating the Heroes in a Half Shell within the pages of comic books and graphic novels.

IDW and Paramount have signed a full renewal of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book contract and have plans for years of additional storytelling, featuring everyone’s favorite mutant family. Over the next couple of months, fans will learn more details, as IDW and Paramount announce multiple new comic book titles featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as all of the ways IDW will be celebrating 40 years of TMNT online and in comic shops.

”We are delighted to continue our relationship with IDW Publishing for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and graphic novels,” said Lourdes Arocho, SVP, Licensing & Publishing, Consumer Products, Paramount. “After 40 years, there are still so many more stories to be told, and we can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next.”

“The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are iconic. They are part of the tapestry of comic book history and I’m honored to be publishing their continuing adventures during this milestone year,” stated IDW Co-Publisher Mark Doyle. “Our Editor-in-Chief Jamie S. Rich and the Editorial team have put together an incredible publishing plan that will thrill long-time fans, excite new readers and show why the Turtles stand shoulder to shoulder with the biggest heroes in comic shops all over the world. It’s a great time to be a fan of TMNT!”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II – Re-Evolution, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the New York Times bestseller Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, arrives in comic shops this March 6. Additionally, the TMNT ongoing series is marching towards its epic and emotional milestone 150th issue, while Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Saturday Morning Adventures presents fun tales inspired by the classic 1987 cartoon series.
