In the pages of Marvel’s Daredevil Elektra Natchios has been covering for the Man Without Fear. With Matt Murdock, under his Daredevil guise, imprisoned for two years, Elektra has stepped up to look after the city.
Now, in a new three-part miniseries, writer Chip Zdarsky will be taking a closer look at the legendary assassin’s journey to become the Woman Without Fear. The series will pit Elektra against a new foe as she also struggles to keep her vow not to kill.
The full synopsis for the first issue reads: The next pulse-pounding chapter in the saga of New York City’s Guardian Devil, this time starring ELEKTRA as Daredevil! Joined by Rafael De Latorre, Chip Zdarsky continues his landmark run and the DAREDEVIL story that spins directly out of the shocking revelations in the pages of DEVIL’S REIGN!
Elektra is the world’s deadliest assassin — and she’s taken a vow not to kill. Someone puts themselves directly in her path with deadly consequences. What else would you expect from the MARVEL UNIVERSE’S GREATEST HUNTER?!
It certainly seems like Elektra may come up against Kraven the Hunter in her latest adventure which also ties in to December’s Devil’s Reign event.
“When we were planning out Devil’s Reign, it became apparent early on that Elektra’s story is too big to be contained in the main series!” said Zdarsky. “Wilson Fisk has unearthed her darkest secret and I’m super excited for readers to see the fallout in this series!”
