Altitude Films this week releases a brand new sci-fi thriller for fans of a dystopian future. The Colony, directed by Tim Fehlbaum, is set in a distant future and finds a female astronaut shipwrecked on the long-decimated Earth. Here she must decide the fate of the wasteland’s remaining populace.
Written by Fehlbaum and Mariko Minoguchi the film questions the fate of the future of humanity as well as examining the devastation of Earth. The film’s trailer features some stunning visuals as well as highlighting its excellent casting.
Falling somewhere between Planet of the Apes and Mad Max (with added water), The Colony promises to be a thoughtful epic which will delight fans of high-concept science fiction.
