Netflix has shared our first look at director Navot Papushado’s action-thriller Gunpowder Milkshake. Papushado (Big Bad Wolves) also co-wrote the film which finds Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) playing a lethal hit-woman named Sam.
Sam reunites with her mother Scarlet (Lena Headey) 15 years after she abandoned her child in order to protect her from a ruthless crime organisation known only as The Firm.

Today we’ve also got two posters for the film: one showing off the Netflix streaming release and another for the International theatrical release.
Gunpowder Milkshake is directed and co-written by Navot Papushado. The film stars Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Carla Gugino, Chloe Coleman, Ralph Ineson, Adam Nagaitis, Michael Smiley, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, and Paul Giamatti.
The film streams on Netflix in the US on July 14 and will release internationally in cinemas over the summer.
