Warner Bros. is deep in reshoots and editing on the upcoming Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). The film is due for release in just over 5 months time with fans clamouring to see some official footage.
Now we understand that Germany’s FSK (the equivalent of the MPAA and BBFC boards) has classified a short teaser for release. The teaser clocks in at only 39 seconds so don’t expect to see a plethora of footage but this does mean that something is coming soon.
At a guess we would expect to see the film teased alongside IT: Chapter 2 with a full trailer possibly set to debut in October alongside Joker.
Much like Chris Nolan’s new film, Tenet, we think Warner Bros. will keep the short teaser a secret and leave it in cinemas only rather than release online and wait for the first full trailer to show off footage worldwide online.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya. The movie will be directed by Cathy Yan and arrives in cinemas on February 7, 2020.
