It has now been over a decade since Indiana Jones appeared on our screens. The character last appeared in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull which landed in cinemas way back in 2008.
For some time now we’ve been expecting a fifth instalment in the franchise to arrive around 2021 based on comments from director Steven Spielberg. Spielberg is deep in production on his West Side Story remake which is due for release in 2020.
But now Harrison Ford has confirmed that work on the sequel is coming along well.
“[Indiana Jones 5] should be starting to shoot sometime next year.” Ford also said in a recent sit down with Variety “I’m looking forward to it. Things are coming along well.”
