Next week the fourth season of Supergirl will draw to a close on The CW. Last night the series dispatched with one of its major villains only to have Lex Luthor make a triumphant return.
With the classic villain being hailed the hero just how will Kara be able to stop him? We’ll have to wait until next Sunday to find out but in the meantime here are the synopsis and promo for the “The Quest For Peace” (we see what you did there CW).

LEX LUTHOR RETURNS – Lex Luthor (guest star Jon Cryer) descends upon Washington, DC and summons Lena (Katie McGrath) and Lillian Luthor (guest star Brenda Strong) to the White House. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) realizes she has one last chance to stop Lex and turns to the power of the press to help her. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller and teleplay by Rob Wright & Derek Simon (#422). Original airdate 5/19/2019.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist, David Harewood, Mehcad Brooks, Katie McGrath, Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines and Chyler Leigh. The series airs on The CW in North America, Sundays at 8/7c.
