It’s safe to say that Marvel fans are still outraged by the cancellation of Luke Cage. So much so that a new petition has popped up on Change.org calling for its revival.
The petition boldly states “Luke Cage is the finest Marvel show in existence. It exemplifies herorics, sassy banter, great music, and family fun. The cancellation of this beloved show is utterly flabbergasting. We must fight to save our hero of Harlem as he fights for us!”
At the time of writing the petition has received a little under 5.5k signatures. Whilst those numbers aren’t huge the press coverage today may give the campaign a boost. Will Netflix revive the series? That remains to be seen…
Marvel’s Luke Cage Season 2 stars Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi, Mustafa Shakir, Gabrielle Dennis, Rosario Dawson, and Reg E. Cathey. Both seasons are available on Netflix now.
