Netflix has debuted the teaser trailer and new poster artwork for visionary director Brad Bird’s Ray Gunn. The animated film is set to debut a limited theatrical run beginning December 4 before streaming globally on Netflix from December 18, 2026.
In Metropia, a gigantic city in an alternate future as seen from 1939, private eye Raymond Gunn is drawn into a case involving aliens, murder and a multimedia star named Venus Nova.

Brad Bird directs from his own original story idea and a screenplay written with Matthew Robins.
