European anime fans are set for an electrifying autumn as legendary Japanese composer Yasuharu Takanashi embarks on his 2026 European tour, titled “THE BATTLE FOR GLORY.” Alongside his powerhouse band, Far East Groove, Takanashi will deliver an officially licensed rock concert experience focusing on the iconic soundtracks of NARUTO: Shippuden and Fairy Tail. Spanning ten cities across eight countries between late September and mid-October, the tour promises an all around celebration of anime music performed live by the mastermind who created it Yasuharu Takanashi.

Shonen’s Greatest Anthems
With a career spanning more than two decades, Yasuharu Takanashi stands as one of the most influential soundtrack composers in modern anime. A multiple recipient of the prestigious JASRAC International Award, his compositions have reached far beyond Japan, leaving an undeniable imprint on global pop culture.
His scores for NARUTO: Shippuden provided the emotional backbone for one of the best-selling manga and anime franchises in history. Takanashi’s compositions have become unforgettable for millions of fans across the globe. Similarly, his work on Fairy Tail defined the spirit of the fantasy epic for more than a decade. Fusing Celtic folk accents, symphonic majesty, and relentless hard rock, his tracks captured the magic, humor, and camaraderie that anchored the guild’s adventures for years.

An Unforgettable Experience
Far from a traditional seated orchestral affair, The Battle for Glory will be raw, kinetic energy of a full-scale rock concert. Front and center with keytar in hand, Takanashi leads Far East Groove with absolute intensity, blending heavy guitar riffs, driving percussion, and orchestral grandeur into a cinematic live performance. The result looks to be a epic journey that places audiences right in the middle of anime’s most thrilling battles.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive in cosplay, celebrating their favourite characters—whether donning the ninja headbands of the Hidden Leaf Village or sporting the guild marks of Fiore—subject to local venue guidelines and safety policies of course!
