Universal Pictures has debuted an incredible new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming historical fantasy epic The Odyssey. The film, which features yet another all-star cast, releases in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on July 17, 2026.
At this stage the studio is still holding back on releasing an official synopsis detailing the story of the film, instead opting to focus on its scale and spectacle:

The Odyssey stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o, with Zendaya and Charlize Theron.
The Odyssey is produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan for their company, Syncopy. The executive producer is Thomas Hayslip.
