Black Bear, the studio behind hit horror-thriller Keeper, has announced plans for the UK release of director Olivia Wilde’s The Invite. The film will release in UK and Irish cinemas on July 3, 2026.
Wilde stars in the film alongside comedian Seth Rogen and actors Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton. Though no trailer has been released as-yet the studio has debuted a short synopsis:
Joe and Angela are on thin ice, and tonight might be when it all falls apart. Unfortunately, their upstairs neighbours are about to arrive for dinner, and everything that can go wrong goes worse.
Directed by Olivia Wilde, based on a screenplay by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, The Invite stars Olivia Wilde, Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton.
The Invite releases in UK and Irish cinemas on July 3, 2026 from Black Bear.
