There’s still over six months to go until DC Studios releases its next movie, Supergirl, in UK cinemas. But the film is already making waves as it appears in a number of Most Anticipated… lists for 2026. Late last night USA Today shared it’s list of movies to look forward to this year and debuted a brand new still showing Milly Alcock fully suited up as the Woman of Tomorrow.
The still doesn’t obviously give much away about what to expect from the film. Milly, in full suit, stands inside what appears to be an alien ship of some kind. It looks like this may well be one of the ships we see Supergirl fighting atop in the recently released teaser trailer for the film. From her makeup it looks like she has already been in some kind of fight when this photo was taken. We can also see some of the finer details in the costume, particularly in the belt.

Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zoe-El/Supergirl. Joining Alcock are Eve Ridley as Ruthye, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem, Jason Momoa as alien bounty hunter Lobo and David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham who will portray Kara’s parents. The film was scripted by Ana Nogueira who is now also rumoured to be being eyed for further DC Studios projects after impressing James Gunn and Peter Safran with her work on the Woman of Tomorrow story.
