Back in 2011 Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn brought us what remans to be one of the most refreshing X-Men movies in the franchise. X-Men: First Class refreshed the franchise and introduced the characters to a whole new generation of cinema goers. Earlier in the week we brought you the news that the Black Widow solo movie had begun production in Norway. Now the first photos from the set have surfaced online. There’s nothing spoiler-y here so don’t worry. We just have several looks at Scarlett Johansson on the set of the movie. Though it might not screen comic book, Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema’s The Kitchen is adapted right from the pages of DC/Vertigo. The Kitchen was a 2014 miniseries which came from the minds of Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle. It focusses on three mob wives in Hell’s Kitchen (McCarthy, Haddish and Moss) in the 1970s who take over the city’s criminal empire when their husbands are sent down by the FBI. It’s been a little while since Birds of Prey wrapped production. Cathy Yan is currently deep in the editing process on 2020’s first DC Films movie but that hasn’t stopped cast member Mary Elizabeth Winstead discussing it in the press.
