The Hunger Games left our screens way back in 2015 with the release of Mockingjay Part 2. However it’s been nine since since the publication of the third book in the series. DC Comics has announced a new Harley Quinn, Black Label series from visionary storyteller Stjepan Šejić. It was a disappointing weekend at the global box office for Sony Pictures Men In Black: International. The fourth movies in the MIB franchise was able to break the $100m barrier but only just. In North America the F. Gary Gray directed picture was only able to gross $28.5m. According to BoxOfficeMojo that is the lowest opening of the franchise by over $20m. Superman: Year One will finally debut its first issue this week (Jun. 19, 2019). Overnight The CW has announced the premiere dates for all our favourite DCTV series. The Arrowverse will begin to return to our screens from Sunday, October 6 which see’s the back-to-back debut of Batwoman at 8 pm and Supergirl at 9 pm. The Flash then follows with the debut of its sixth season on Tuesday, October 8. The following week Arrow will debut its final season on Tuesday, October 15. In his latest post the director has shown off a look at his version of Darkseid. Joker director Todd Philips last night shared a new image from the upcoming Warner Bros. release. The black and white image features Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck soberly painting his face white. Tom King hit the headlines recently for his exit from the on-going Batman series at DC Comics. Rumours had the prolific writer bring removed from the series due to declining sales.
