Some excellent news has broken overnight courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter as the trade is reporting that Netflix is eyeing an adaption of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. According to the report Netflix has now secured a deal with Warner Bros. Television to adapt the beloved comic book into a live-action TV show. This comes after years of failed attempts from names across The Hollywood spectrum. Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg will serve as showrunner on the series, whilst author Neil Gaiman and prolific screenwriter David Goyer (The Dark Knight) will serve as executive producers.
