The fourth entry into the Kelvin timeline Star Trek series has had a rough journey of late. Originally announced to bring Chris Hemsworth back to the series as George Kirk alongside Chris Pine as his son James, the film fell apart during cast negotiations.
Now THR are reporting that the film is finally moving forward with Legion‘s Noah Hawley set to write and direct. Chris Pine (Kirk), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Zoe Saldana (Uhura) and Karl Urban (McCoy) are all expected to reprise their roles.
No official details have been revealed by Paramount Pictures as yet. Watch this space (pun intended).
