MGM has released a new trailer for their upcoming animated reboot of The Addams Family. The cooky, creepy family are making a return to the big screen after a 26 year absence. It’s been a stellar few days for Venom 2, first the announcement that Andy Serkis will be taking on directing duties and now Michelle Williams has confirmed she will return for the sequel. Despite reports from many that Williams was unhappy with the end result of the first movie and claims that she was phoning in her performance, it seems she is ready for a second attempt at the franchise. Everyone is currently talking about just which characters from DCTV and movie history might appear in the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover. Today we have an update from executive producer Marc Guggenheim who has an update on some of the rumours currently appearing in the press. Despite only being confirmed to take on the job yesterday, Andy Serkis has already been discussing his vision for Venom 2 with the press. Serkis appeared at FX’s TCA panel for the upcoming A Christmas Carol he was, of course, asked if he could divulge any info on the movie. It was recently announced that Joker will get a gala premiere as part of the Toronto Film Festival. Now the head of the festival has heaped some huge praise on the Todd Phillips directed picture. The genius that is legendary composer Hans Zimmer has dropped a special surprise on film score fans today. He has released a new album containing over an hour of new music from the recording sessions for Dark Phoenix. In an accompanying tweet Zimmer explains that during the course of scoring the movie over 16 hours of music was recorded. The 12 track album includes alternate versions of themes from the movie as well as plenty of experimental tracks.
