Yesterday it seems that filming for The Batman was all over London and social media. We’re not going to bring you too many spoilers but one of those photos appeared to show someone looking very much like Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin preparing to film.
Following those set photos the film’s director, Matt Reeves, appeared to finally confirm that Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them) will be taking on the role. Farrell has been strongly rumoured for some time but until now Reeves had yet to comment on his involvement.

Written and directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is set to star Robert Pattinson in the title role, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/Nygma.
The Batman is due for release on June 25, 2021.
