Though season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery has yet to even confirm a premiere date it seems the show may have already been renewed for fourth. Mission: Impossible 7 director Christopher McQuarrie has confirmed a new casting rumour for the upcoming sequel. Veteran X-Men actor Nicholas Hoult has joined the cast in a reportedly villainous role. As with all the other casting announcements for the latest instalment in the franchise, we have no idea who Riemelt will be playing. We’re waking up to some sad news for the Marvel Cinematic Universe this morning as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has lost its director, Scott Derrickson. Variety broke the story which was later confirmed by Derrickson himself on Twitter.
