Over the weekend the trade has taken a deep dive on Dark Phoenix and compared it to another huge box office superhero flop from 20th Century Fox, Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four. Midsommar is proving to be the must-see horror movie of the summer. Directed by Ari Aster the movie bucks the trend for dark, gloomy scenery and instead sets itself in bright sunny, sprawling landscapes. Walt Disney Pictures. has unveiled the first first trailer for their live action version of Mulan. The adaption of the 1998 animated classic seems to be shaping up to the quite the epic. Following a slightly confusing and staggered set of opening dates Spider-Man: Far From Home has made a huge dent on the worldwide box office. The movie opened in several international territories last weekend but rolled out almost completely across the globe this week and has amassed a huge $580m already. In North America the movie opened on Tuesday and has grossed $185m in its first six days.
