Director James Gunn has revealed via Twitter account that the first draft script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is complete. It is expected to begin shooting early next year once the dust has settled on Avengers 4 reshoots. Marvel’s Kevin Feige is out and about promoting the upcoming release of Ant-Man and The Wasp at the moment. But that doesn’t mean he’s not open to discussing any other Marvel release. The movie formerly known as Flashpoint seems to be rocketing towards a potential release date. Aquaman director James Wan is about to become a Funko POP! vinyl character. It’s recently been announced the James Wan POP! will be exclusively available at San Diego Comic Con in July. To celebrate the director posted a photo of his POP! posting for the camera to his Instagram. Eagle eyed fans immediately spotted what was going on in the background. Despite a slightly lukewarm reception from critics, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has had another successful weekend at the box office. The film finally opened in North America last week and ended the three-day weekend with $150.1m. Going in to the weekend estimates were around the $130-$140m mark. Despite shattering those estimates the film does come in around -28% on the $200m+ opening of Jurassic World. Internationally Fallen Kingdom brought in a further $106.7m. Yesterday we brought you news of a troubling rumour from the Star Wars camp. Collider was, at the time, reporting that future A Star Wars Story movies were not moving forwards in the wake of Solo: A Star Wars Story failing to set the box office alight.
