Warner Bros. has given Aquaman fans something to look forward to. Late last night Warner Bros. announced that the upcoming sequel has found itself a release date. Following the huge success of 2018’s Aquaman there was no doubt that a sequel would be top priority for the studio. Fans are continuing to eagerly await the second trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot. But whilst the studio remains coy about when we’ll see more footage we do have some very exciting news for fans. It’s been announced by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America to us outside the US) that the Neil Marshall directed movie will be rated R. This high rating is due to “strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language.” According to the website for their UK equivalent (the BBFC) we don’t yet have a rating. Though no time has been confirmed we believe it will be late tonight in North America and therefore overnight/early tomorrow for us here in the UK. With a new trailer rumoured to drop this week, a new poster for Dark Phoenix (X-Men: Dark Phoenix to us here in the UK) has leaked online. This latest poster see’s Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) split right down the centre with the X-Men and the Brotherhood on either side of her. Interestingly Beast (Nicholas Hoult) is featured on the dark side rather than aligned with Professor X (James McAvoy). Overall though this poster does look pretty cool.
