Late last night rumours began to circulate that Rian Johnson’s planned Star Wars trilogy was being cancelled by the studio. Unsubstantiated reports claimed that following the lacklustre fan response to The Last Jedi and Solo’s failure at the box office, the new trilogy was to be indefinitely postponed.
