Another huge trailer from last night’s Sony State of Play stream has confirmed a long-rumoured delay for one of our most anticipated games. Crystal Dynamics has debuted a new look at Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis confirming the game, originally announced for 2026, will officially release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on February 12, 2027.
Co-developed with Flying Wild Hog and built in Unreal Engine 5, Legacy of Atlantis is a complete reimagining of the 1996 original Tomb Raider. From your first plunge into Peru’s Lost Valley to your first glimpse at the crumbling ruins of Greece, every environment has been expanded with stunning new visuals, an immersive soundscape, and modernized gameplay that makes exploration, combat, and puzzles feel fresh.

In Peru’s Lost Valley, the puzzles have been rebuilt from the ground up. Where the original moved you from one self-contained room to the next, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis opens those spaces into semi-connected environments you can traverse, explore, and approach from new angles.
