IDW has announced more plans for the upcoming 60th anniversary of Star Trek. Having already announced a new ongoing series to begin later this year, the publisher has now revealed the creative teams and cover art for its Star Trek: 60th Anniversary Special, set to arrive in comic book stores on September 2, 2026.
The 68-page one-shot will feature ten brand new stories featuring some incredible names from the worlds of comics and Trek coming together to celebrate six decades of the legendary franchise.
First up let’s take a look at the synopsis for the book:
