In just under a month, Mando and Grogu will be back, but this time they’ll be hitting the big screen. The Mandalorian and Grogu will be making the jump to hyperspace on May 22nd, and to celebrate its upcoming release Disney shared a brand new clip showing an incredibly exciting team-up that combines The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Rebels.
In a high speed chase across a sand dune, Mando and Zeb Orrelios are being chased after capturing their latest bounty- which appears to be Jonny Coyne’s Lord Janu, a crimelord. While they’re being chased and shot at, Grogu tries his best to help. It’s an adorable little clip and it is so good seeing the world of The Mandalorian combining with the animated world. Never did we imagine that we would ever get a member of the Ghost crew working with Din Djarin in a live-action setting. We’re truly being spoiled.
Synopsis
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.
