In case you missed it, DC has revealed the (redacted) main cover for Absolute Batman #20, illustrated by series artist Nick Dragotta. The full, unredacted version of the artwork will be revealed in early April, following the publication of issue #19.
Already an intense, character-defining journey driven by bold twists, deep mystery, and unstoppable forward momentum, Absolute Batman is heading towards its two-year anniversary on the back of some huge twists. But could this new cover hint that a certain Boy Wonder is about to join the Absolute Universe?
The publisher has revealed some early details on Absolute Batman #20 including a short synopsis:
As the dust settles in the city of Gotham after the loss of [redacted], [redacted] enter the scene ready to hunt — and more than one secret will be revealed in this seminal issue.
With Poison Ivy having arrived on the scene in today’s issue #17, just who is Gotham about to lose? What could the vents of “The Seventh Kingdom” do to trigger the Absolute Unvierse’s Dick Grayson (or perhaps a new character) to become Robin?
