505 Games, the developer behind Assault Spy, has released the demo for upcoming 3D anime-styled action hero game MIGHTREYA. The publisher has also confirmed that the game’s developer, Wazen K, will take part in the upcoming Steam Next Fest.
Set in every-day Japan, players can walk the streets, jump between buildings and fly to fight and toss around giant monsters which threaten the city.

MIGHTREYA has been in development by sole Japanese developer Wazen for several years with players now able to get a taste of the action in the games newly released demo. The demo offers players a Tate of the game’s dynamic combat system, allowing them to engage in high-speed aerial battles, unleash powerful attacks, and experience the sensational combat against creatures and monsters from another dimension.
The game itself features stylish female protagonist Reya who will take on 24 enemy types including bosses. More than 30 powerful moves and attacks to defeat Reya’s enemies including amazing and unique combos. There will be 3 main iconic weapons to use plus one special one, 7 different settings with varied weather effects across 38 stages.
MIGHTREYA’s is expected to release later this year.
