2025 was an incredible year for Matt and Ross Duffer. As well as signing a deal which will see the pair setting up camp at Paramount Pictures, the final season of Stranger Things just about melted all of Netflix’s servers. Now we’re getting a first look at their next project, atmospheric horror series Something Very Bad is Going to Happen.
Created and executed produced by Haley Z. Bolton, the series has been confirmed this week to premiere globally on March 26, 2026. A simple longline for the series says:
If we know something very bad is going to happen, why do we feel so good about it?
The series will star Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Night Manager) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus, Overcompensating) as the bride and groom. Both take centre stage in a series of first look images released by the streamer this week:
