In just under an hour we should have our first official look at the third teaser for Avengers: Doomsday as the X-Men arrive in the MCU. Just as the minutes count down we’ve gotten word on just what to expect from the next in Marvel Studios long line of teasers for the December 2026 release.
Opening on a sandy desert fans will get their first look at Shuri (Letitia Wright) who also narrates this first part of the teaser. Sporting an upgraded Black Panther costume the dialogue follows a similar path to previous teasers…
“I’ve lost everyone that matters to me” she proclaims. “A king has his duties to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.”
The narration plays as our first look at Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and his people plays on screen. It seems the surviving Wakandan people and the underwater Talokan have joined forces. Returning to the desert Shuri is joined by M’Baku (Winston Duke) and Namor as they meet a mysterious stranger.
M’Baku introduces himself as the King of Wakanda and we see for the first time who they are meeting… The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) who introduces himself as “Ben of Yancy Street. Between Groome and Grande.” The final shot of the teaser shows Shrui pulling the classic Black Panther pose before the on screen caption “Wakandans and the Fantastic Four will return in Avengers: Doomsday”.
The Avengers: Doomsday cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, and Robert Downey Jr.
