Who lives in a pineapple under the sea… It never gets old, does it? After 26 long years of flipping Krabby Patties and failing his driving test way too many times, Spongebob is gearing up for another cinematic quest that’ll take him to new depths. The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants is set to hit UK cinemas just in time for Christmas on December 20th.
The brand new film will see Spongebob test his courage by seeking out The Flying Dutchman played by Luke Skywalker himself- Mark Hamill. That’s right, Hamill is making his return to the Spongebob franchise after 18 long years. In 2007, Hamill voiced The Moth, one of Mermaid Man’s notorious enemies. Arguably not as iconic as Man Ray and the Dirty Bubble- Sorry Moth.
To celebrate it’s upcoming release in just over a month, Paramount Pictures released a massive poster and a trailer which promises plenty of laughs and a daring trip to the Underworld…
