This week, Wicked soars to the top of the Official Film Chart, claiming the Number 1 spot after rising from last week’s Number 6. The spellbinding reimagining of the untold story of the witches of Oz continues to enchant audiences with its stunning visuals, powerful performances from Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, and spectacular soundtrack. The sequel, Wicked: For Good arrives in cinemas worldwide from 21st November.
At Number 2, Superman (2025) continues to fly high after dropping one place from last week’s top spot. James Gunn’s bold reintroduction of the Man of Steel, led by David Corenswet, delivers a fresh take on hope, heroism, and heart for a new generation of fans.

Period drama fans rejoice as Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale enjoys a graceful ascent to Number 6, moving up one place from last week. Meanwhile, Ethan Hunt races back into the action with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, landing at Number 7.
Superhero spectacle The Fantastic Four – First Steps lands at Number 8, introducing Marvel’s iconic team to a new cinematic era. With its blend of science, heart, and heroism, it’s a fresh beginning for one of Marvel’s most beloved groups.
Weapons drops to Number 9 but continues to draw intrigue with its chilling and unconventional storytelling. From director Zach Cregger, it’s a genre-defying thriller that keeps audiences guessing.
Finally, festive favourite The Grinch (Animated) sneaks into the Top 10, leaping up 17 places (10). With Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the iconic green grouch, the colourful retelling of Dr. Seuss’s classic continues to delight families as the holiday season approaches.
