It’s hard to believe Super Friends but this week is the season two finale of James Gunn’s Peacemaker. The eighth and final episode, “Full Nelson” will stream from Thursday on HBO Max in the US and comes to Sky TV and NOW in the UK from Friday.
DC Studios has been tight-lipped about the finale which is written and directed by Gunn himself. We know the episode will run to around 57 minutes making it the longest episode of the season. Aside from its super-size we don’t even have an official synopsis. But we do now have a set of new images which show Chris (John Cena) is behind bars at A.R.G.U.S. whilst the rest of the team is picking up the pieces following their trip to Earth-X.
Take a look at all seven stills from “Full Nelson” below:
Peacemaker stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick return for season two. New cast members include Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of season two and directed three, including the first episode. Gunn, Peter Safran, and John Cena serve as executive producers. Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones also direct. Based on characters from DC, Peacemaker is produced by Gunn’s Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
