Netflix has revealed the first footage from Academy Award winning director Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming A House of Dynamite. The film, which stars Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson, is set to release in select UK cinemas on October 3, 2025 before rolling out to cinemas globally on October 10. It will then make its way to the streaming giant on October 24, 2025.
In the film a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States and a race begins to determine who is responsible and how to respond.

Directed by Kathryn Bigelow from a script by Noah Oppenheim, A House of Dynamite features a huge ensemble cast led by Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson. Also starring are Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Moses Ingram, Jonah Hauer-King, with Greta Lee, and Jason Clarke.
