Great news for DC fans this morning. It has finally been confirmed that James Gunn’s Creature Commandos will premiere in the UK on Sky beginning with two episodes July 8, 2025. The series is currently in production on a second season which is hoped to release in 2026.
Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they’re your last, worst option. Think The Suicide Squad but even more monstrous!
The first two episodes of season 1 will premiere at 2am on Sky on Tuesday, July 8 with a repeat airing later that day at 11pm. Sky has yet to confirm when episodes will release on-demand or on its streaming service NOW. Creature Commandos originally premiered on HBO Max in the US starting in December 2024.

In his four-star review of the series premiere Neil said “Creature Commandos fires out of the gate with a meticulous first episode which sets up strong character arcs as well as a mission capable of carrying us through the seven-episode season.
