Earlier today Disney+ revealed that FX’s Alien: Earth will be premiering on August 13, 2025 with two episodes. Now the streamer has revealed a bunch of new images from the series giving us our first real look at the cast in action. New episode of the 8-episode season will premiere each following Wednesday on Disney+.
Set in the year 2120, a mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, “Wendy” (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
Whilst we don’t get a look at any of the series’ much-hyped creatures or the classic Xenomorph. We do have plenty of new looks at the human cast in action. It certainly looks like Timothy Olyphant may be playing one of the Alien franchise staples, a synth!
Take a look at the full set of stills below:
Led by Chandler, the series showcases an expansive international cast, which includes Timothy Olyphant (“Kirsh”), Alex Lawther (“Hermit”), Samuel Blenkin (“Boy Kavalier”), Babou Ceesay (“Morrow”), Adrian Edmondson (“Atom Eins”), David Rysdahl (“Arthur Sylvia”), Essie Davis (“Dame Sylvia”), Lily Newmark (“Nibs”), Erana James (“Curly”), Adarsh Gourav (“Slightly”), Jonathan Ajayi (“Smee”), Kit Young (“Tootles”), Diêm Camille (“Siberian”), Moe Bar-El (“Rashidi”) and Sandra Yi Sencindiver (“Yutani”).
