Almost five years after the release of Ghost of Tsushima, we finally have a release date for its sequel. Ghost of Yōtei. The upcoming PS5 game, which is completely seperate from Jin Sakai’s journey, will be released on October 2nd, 2025.
The game follows Atsu, a fierce warrior on a quest for vengeance. 16 years ago in the Ezo region, a gang of outlaws known as the Yōtei Six took everything from Atsu. They slaughtered her family and left her for dead. Surviving the awful attack, Atsu honed her skills and returned with a list of six names… The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito.
You’ll spend the game hunting each of them down, one by one. But, just like in Ghost of Tsushima, there’ll be more to this journey than meets the eye. As Atsu explores Ezo, she’ll learn more about the world, form alliances and attempt to move beyond the anger in her heart.
To celebrate the official release date, we were also gifted with a trailer and our first look at the gorgeous Collector’s Edition that fans can preorder on May 2nd.
Here is everything that comes with the Collector’s Editon:
- Replica display edition of Atsu’s Ghost mask with display stand.
- Atsu’s sash, complete with the names of all members of the Yotei Six.
- The Tsuba from Atsu’s katana, including display stand.
- Pouch of coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki, a game of skill you’ll play throughout Ghost of Yōtei.

The standard edition will be priced at £69.99, whereas the Collector’s Edition comes with a fairly substancial price tag of £249.99. However, we’re super happy with all fo the additional perks and bonuses.
