Sarah Michelle Gellar’s incredible 2025 continues. It’s now been confirmed that the returning star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dexter: Original Sin will also be appearing in the upcoming sequel to 2019’s Ready or Not. The upcoming sequel has also added Lord of the Rings and Yellowjackets‘ Elijah Wood to the cast.
Cameras are currently rolling on the sequel which is once again produced by Radio Silence. Rounding out the cast are Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Kathryn Newton and David Cronenberg plus the returning Samara Weaving.

Back in 2019 the original Ready or Not grossed an impressive $57M worldwide off an incredible $6M budget making it a dead cert to receive the sequel treatment.
