Unless you stayed up late last night you’ll just be waking up to the news of this year’s Academy Awards. Did Demi Moore finally get her Best Actress Oscar for The Substance? Or did Mikey Madison’s turn in Anora upset the predictions?

It was an incredible night for Sean Baker’s Anora as it won several of the top prizes. After walking away with the Best Director award the film was also decorated for the top prize, Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Film Editing and yes, Madison did walk away with the award for Best Actress.

Elsewhere it was Adrian Brady who scooped the prize for Best Actor in The Brutalist, Zoe Saldaña won the Best Supporting Actress for Emilia Perez, Kieran Culkin for Best Supporting Actor in A Real Pain and Conclave took home the award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Box office behemoth Wicked took home prizes for Best Costume and Best Production design whilst another of our favourite, Dune: Part II took home award for Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects.
