Time to check out this week’s UK Official Film Chart as Disney’s $1 billion earning Moana 2 scores an impressive second week in the top spot.
Racking up over 33,000 sales in its second week, it holds off competition from the rebounding Venom: The Last Dance which bounces up two places to Number 2, displacing Wicked to Number 3 as it goes.
This week’s highest new entry, Nosferatu, makes a Top 5 debut landing straight in at Number 4. The Gothic horror film – starring Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult and Bill Skarsgård among a star-studded cast – is a remake of the beloved 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.
Historical epic Gladiator II drops two places (5), staying ahead of Marvel’s latest, Kraven the Hunter (6), while DreamWorks’ The Wild Robot sticks it out in the Top 10 for another week (7).
Terrifier 3 flies back into the chart at Number 8, finishing just ahead of The Last Voyage of the Demeter which lands back in the Top 10 for the first time since October thanks to its release on DVD Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
Finally, Conclave clings on to a place in the Top 10 after dropping two places down to Number 10.
