We had a feeling we might be getting a new look at this one… during last night’s Super Bowl Paramount Pictures took full advantage of that colossal TV audience to debut a brand new 30-second TV spot for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The latest chapter, once again directed by Christopher McQuarrie, will release in UK cinemas in May 23, 2025.
Speculation had been rife on the title for the follow up to last year’s Dead Reckoning. Originally announced as a two-part film, the production would later drop the Dead Reckoning title during production on this latest film. Now we know that the follow up is ominously titled Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Could this be Ethan Hunt’s last adventure?

The studio remains typically tight-lipped about the story of the film thought a short synopsis has now been revealed: Our lives are the sum of our choices. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
Once again directed by franchise legend Christopher McQuarrie, The Final Reckoning stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Vanessa Kirby. Also starring are Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman and Hannah Waddingham with Angela Bassett, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Charles Parnell and Frederick Schmidt.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning comes to UK cinemas on May 23, 2025.
