Yesterday the first two episodes of brand new Marvel Animation series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man finally made their global debut. The series, which has landed on Rotten Tomatoes with an impress 96% fresh rating, has now officially released episode stills from this week’s premiere.
The series follows Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots. In our four-star review of season one Neil says “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a breath of fresh air for the character’s long storied history in animation. A fresh approach, new supporting cast and flirtation with events of the MCU make it a truly unique, exhilarating and dynamic season of blockbuster storytelling.”

Marvel is treating us well over the course of the season. After the two episode premiere we get a further three episodes next week (Feb. 5th), three again the following week (Feb. 12th) and then the final two episodes will stream on February 19.

The series talented voice cast includes Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy, and Charlie Cox. The head writer is Jeff Trammell and Mel Zwyer is the supervising director. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, and Trammell serve as executive producers.
