BOOM! Studios has announced that Power Rangers Prime #3 has sold out at the distributor level ahead of its debut in comic book stores. Groundbreaking Power Rangers writer, and scribe behind Darkest Hour Melissa Flores, along with acclaimed artist Michael YG (Iron Fist), colorist Fabi Marques, and letterer Ed Dukeshire ushers in a new era into the Rangers Mythos with the new ongoing series Power Rangers Prime.

Our heroes enter a museum filled with Rangers artifacts, when they suddenly encounter Rita herself. An epic face-off ensues that literally brings relics from the past to life! But when the mayor of Angel Grove calls in her elite team of VR Troopers… a fateful choice from Rita will change the Prime universe forever!

In response to the overwhelming support from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios has announced Power Rangers Prime #3 Second Printing (NOV247563), featuring brand new cover art by Jahnoy Lindsay (Superboy: The Man Of Tomorrow), available in stores February 19, 2025.

In our five-star review of the series first issue Neil said “Power Rangers Prime owe#1 presents a bold new direction for the franchise. Melissa Flores is throwing off the shackles of 30 years of storytelling and forging her own path. This opening chapter presents an unpredictable and enticing first look at a world of possibilities with no major hints as to the direction of travel. Side-stepping the various TV versions of the colour-coded heroes has reinvigorated the Power Rangers in ways I could not have anticipated.”

“Our launch of Power Rangers Prime has been wildly loved by the Ranger faithful,” said Josh Hayes, Vice President of Sales, BOOM! Studios. “So we couldn’t be happier than to offer another chance for fans to jump on with a positively Morphinominal cover from Jahnoy Lindsay!”

Power Rangers Prime #3 First Printing will be available in comic shops January 22, 2025. It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
