It’s hard to believe but this week will mark the finale of DC Studios’ first ever animated series, Creature Commandos. The series, which was recently renewed for a second season, will debut its final episode on Max in the US Thursday. As ever we’ll keep you posted on when the series will finally come to screens in the UK.
Later today the review embargo will lift on the first entry in DC Studios’ burgeoning DCU franchise. Creature Commandos, entirely written by creative studio head James Gunn, will debut its first two episodes on Max in the US Thursday. But before we get to those reviews (and that debut) we’re taking a look at official stills from the series’ first episode, “The Collywobbles”.
The season finale will finally see the remaining members of Task Force M trying to complete their mission and assassinate Princess Ilana (Maria Bakalova) of Pokolistan. Whether they will be successful in that missions remains to be seen…
Max has debuted four first-look images from “A Very Funny Monster” which you can check out below:
Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they’re your last, worst option. Think The Suicide Squad but even more monsterous!
