Christmas has come early for DC fans today. As rumours continue to swirl that a trailer may debut this week, Warner Bros. Pictures has give fans a first look at James Gunn’s Superman with the film’s first official poster.
The release of the poster heralds the beginning of marketing for the July 2025 film. Rumours have been swirling for weeks that a trailer for Superman was due to release this week. Whilst James Gunn has, so far, been non-committal on exactly when that would be it seem DC Studios is finally ready to show us the first footage from their debut theatrical release. A separate video, posted across social media, teases the trailer releasing on Thursday of this week.
Here’s a look at the poster in full:
The film’s already stacked cast includes David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. They will be joined by Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.
Superman is due to hit cinemas on July 11, 2025 from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures. For more head to our dedicated hub for all things Superman ’25.
