Brilliant news for fans of comic books, sci-fi and cult entertainment. After facing down the Bristol Triangle fire and living to tell the tale, Forbidden Planet’s legendary Bristol megastore will be reopening on Saturday December 7th 2024.
The legendary store will be celebrating opening its doors once more with a wild array of costumed characters, special visitors, festive decorations and launch day goodie bags – along with some amazing events lined up throughout the festive season!
Local residents should keep their eyes peeled to Forbidden Planet’s channels as creator signings, themed days and Yuletide events will be announced throughout the festive season. But to whet your appetite for events to come, the store has announced that on Sunday December 22 there will be an exclusive signing with two local legends, Wallace & Gromit directors Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham. Nick and Merlin will be at the store from 1pm til 2pm signing copies of Titan Books’ amazing behind-the-scenes coffee table book The Art Of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
