Max has given fans a tease of what is to come from the upcoming second season of Peacemaker thanks for a new first-look trailer. The streamer has revealed a new trailer showing off its huge 2025 slate which includes footage from The White Lotus, new medical drama The Pitt and Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That which returns for its third season.
No release date for Peacemaker has been confirmed as yet. Whilst interacting with fans on social media, DC Studios head James Gunn has stated the season 2 is likely to follow on from Superman putting the release in the second half of 2025.

Little is known about the story of the upcoming second season. This footage does little to reveal the story of season 2 aside from giving us our first look at Rick Flag Snr (Frank Gillo) in live-action. The character makes his live-action DCU debut after first appearing in December’s animated Creature Commandos series.
Peacemaker, written and produced by James Gunn, stars John Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland and Freddie Stroma. Season 2 will also feature Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows, Sol Rodriguez and David Denman.
