Excitement for DC’s All In initiative has reached fever pitch. Just as the publisher’s DC All In Special #1 is flying on comic book store shelves comes an announcement for the next chapter in its bold new plans.
Ahead of its highly anticipated October 9 release, DC has confirmed that Absolute Batman #1, written by Scott Snyder and featuring art by Nick Dragotta and Frank Martin, has completely sold out at the distributor level and will head back to press for a second printing. This second printing will feature all-new cover art: a main cover by series artists Dragotta and Martin, which is also available as an inked variant cover, as well as an additional variant cover by Mike Deodato Jr. and Jão Canola and a foil variant cover featuring interior art from issue #1 by Dragotta and Martin.

The second printing of Absolute Batman #1 is available for preorder now and arrives at participating comic book shops on Wednesday, October 30. Absolute Batman #2 (“The Zoo,” part two) is also available for preorder and goes on sale Wednesday, November 13.
