D23 is the gift that keeps on giving, and yesterday delivered an exciting update straight from Pandora. The third movie in James Cameron’s wondrous franchise will officially be titled Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Director James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña took to the stage on Friday to reveal the new title and show off some concept art revealing a new tribe of Na’vi that are fire-based.
“I came 7,000 miles from New Zealand for this,” Cameron said to the full house at the Honda Center before revealing some extra details. “New cultures and settings… you’ll see more of Pandora the planet than you ever see saw before. The new film isn’t what you expect, but it’s definitely what you want.” What could this mean?
